Is Gateway’s new NX100 notebook an “ultra-portable”? We don’t think so, but it’s not a bad notebook for $1,650.
Even better might be Toshiba’s dual core notebook for $1,250 that includes OneNote 2003 and an integrated optical drive.
TabletKiosk’s UMPC is available for pre-order. Say hi to the “eo”, although we think it should be dubbed the “gobi”. What do you think? 
Looks like Kevin was wrong and Toshiba will not be entering the UMPC market at this time. Hmm….. 
Who wants an Origami device integrated in their car?
Speaking of cars, how about using EV-DO in the car for mobile television. Slingbox or Orb + EV-DO + Origami = mobile TV bliss.
Sprint’s faster EV-DO via Revision A coming in 1Q2007 and Kevin is disappointed in the speed.
EV-DO is “disruptive” in a good way according to the listener e-mail from Tim Marman.
