Matt’s recording Singapore, hence a little audio challenge for this show.
Nokia N79, N85 and N96 coming to America.
Where are all of the OLED devices?
There’s an MSI Wind with 6-cell battery on the way.
Matt scores an Amazon Kindle for $200 since Kindle 2.0 isn’t coming soon.
WiMAX getting location-based services and there’s potential for “the ability to use multiple devices on the same account without being charged multiple times“. That would be sweet!
What do we expect (or want) the WiMAX offerings to be?
Android is getting an AppStore, er Market… which looks to be less restrictive than Apple’s.

  1. Greetings from Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Just catching up with some of the “older” shows (142 in particular) – you mentioned that you only had 2 foreign listeners. Count me in!

Thanks for helping me keep up-to-date with the phone stuff. Very much appreciated!

  2. Hi guys,

    Great podcast.

Just a quick note about the Acer Aspire One, I’ve owned the EEEPC 900 with windows XP and now have the Aspire One with windows XP and 120G HDD(about 3 weeks). The Aspire one is quick, sure the boot is not as quick as the EEEPC 900 but once it gets going it’s quicker and it can go on standby and hibernate no problem, the screen is absolutely beautiful. Battery life is just over 2 hours.
EEEPC 900 is just too limited by the small storage space, windows was complaining about running out of space after updating it to windows XP SP3. I’m happy with the Aspire One, now I just have to sell that piece of garbage Dell XPS M1330.
