[…] MobileTechRoundup show #61 was recorded without Kevin, but James and I still had plenty to chat about and went over our desired 30 minutes. I think we need Kevin to keep us on schedule and on topic and look forward to his return. We chatted a bit about James’ move and my recent road trip experiences and how mobile technology makes both of these better. We answered a couple of listener emails in regards to use of inking technology on Tablet PC/UMPC devices. We closed the show with a discussion on the WamPad mobile portal that helps make browsing from a small screen a better experience. […]

Actually, I was already thinking about a new gear bag because I saw the new Incase Rip-Stop backpack at the local Apple Store last weekend and was pretty disappointed with both the colors of the material as well as the bulkiness of the bag. I was kind of expecting something as sleek as my current Incase sling bag but with another outer pocket to hold a little bit more stuff. Instead, this new Incase bag was super-huge compared to my sling bag. I am a pretty short person, so I can’t really handle bulky backpacks without totally looking ridiculous, so bulk is definitely a factor. […]
