After a week of recovery, we’re back from CES…with a little “behind the set” secret to share direct from the ‘Beanbag at the Bellagio.’ 😉
Final CES thoughts on what we saw and what we didn’t see.
The Nokia N800 looked pretty sweet; might we get our hands on a few?
The OQO is now a UMPC if you go by the Microsoft Mobile PC Newsetter.
Actually is Vista turning all small handhelds into UMPCs?
So can you get an OQO with Vista or not? We see XP Home and Professional but that’s it, even with the product delivery out 2-3 months after the Vista launch.
Zune squirting: works most of the time…..:(
Freeware Free service / site of the show: Reader Mini by John Tokash! Great for the small screen, it’s a front end to Google Reader!

  1. MobileTech has not covered Alltel’s cell top (http://www.mycelltop.com/) While not as high profile or as high end as the iPhone, it finally puts a simple, easy to navigate UI in the hands of the lower end consumer with widgets providing easy one click access to stocks, sports, weather etc. About time we had an intuitive UI for the everyman. Straight forward data plan for $10 works for me. Interested in your perspectives.
