TOPICS:

Couple of new product announcements and our thoughts on them:
The Medion UMPC is available for pre-order at $999.
How about that HTC Athena, er..T-Mobile Ameo around $650?
A magnetic power cord that’s fraying? What’s up with that Apple?
EV-DO Rev A. first impressions. Matt and James have both tried it and the results are great!
Make sure your Verizon EV-DO Rev. 0 works after the Rev A. rollout.
Freeware of the show: Nokia Team Suite for group contact messaging and conference calling.
Kevin didn’t have the Samsung Screen Resolution Switcher working in Vista on the Q1P at the time of this show, but it’s working now! :)

  1. Here’s a free mass messaging program for WM5 devices. You can use it for text and email. http://www.mobile-cc.ch/MCCServices/mccProdukte/mccMassMessage/tabid/138/Default.aspx

  2. Any thoughts out there about my last Celltop post. Love to know if anyone has tried it and if it works as well as it looks. The widget approach to the UI makes sense and a $10 data plan sounds almost too good to be true (mycelltop.com)
